Some dolls hung on trees.  Creepy...
We travel slowly down the canal.
This is a mariachi band singing too another boat.
A lady cooks in a boat.
We bought some tacos to eat
Two ducks follow our boat..
...and another one joins them.
These people are cooking and selling corn on their boat.
Someone sells baskets of flowers apparently.  They're so pretty!
A snack vendor.
We buy a snack.  It is a wafer with sunflower seeds and syrup inside.
We see this heron on the bank of the canal.
We saw this dog on a roof.  I hope it's okay.
We see a house with a bunch of dogs!
The canal we are in has many flowers.
After we finish the canal tour, we eat cookies we bought earlier while we walk to dinner.
The plaza where the restaurant is has pretty decorations.
The place we eat at is called El Caporal.
I had chicken, potato, onion tacos.
This is pazole, or pork soup.
There is a pig head and some meat out for decoration.
After eating we take the subway home.  To be continued.

Mexico Part 3- Subpart 1

Hi everyone!  Sorry this took so long.  There's a ton of pictures so I split into two parts.  This post is about the pastry shop we visited in the morning of that day.
Yummy jellies!
I think the Winnie the Pooh jellies are really cute.
I have made jelly eggs before but these look much prettier.
The racks in the middle contain jelly cakes in case the pictures aren't clear.
More jello.
So many cookies!  We bought some to eat later.
We bought this strawberry jello to eat.  It was delicious!

Mexico Part 2

Hi everyone!  This is part two of my Mexico posts.  This is a fountain made of china at San Angel!  :O
This is a closer look.  Wow, that's a lot of cups!
The mermaid at the base of the fountain.
Some flowers next to the fountain.
A colorful altar.
At night we go to the Museum of Anthropology to see a folklore ballet.  To our surprise, the show was on a stage outdoors.
I think their dresses are pretty.  What do you think?
I didn't understand what was happening here....
hm......  Not sure what this is...
After the ballet we go to Hotel Intercontinental to eat at this French restaurant.
A statue in the lobby of the hotel.
The menu.  Sorry the words are so tiny.
Onion soup.
These are some beef cheeks.
Seafood soup.
Even though it doesn't look like it, these are mussels with pesto butter.
Shrimp and scallops.  None for me D:
Duck with lots of fries.  (What I ordered)
Red snapper.
For dessert we had chocolate souffle with vanilla ice cream..
.....and some berry souffle.  :)  Well, this marks the end of another post, I'll try to post more soon.
