Chinese New Year

I am Soooo~ honored to do a Chinese New Year post for the blog (becasue no one else did it yet.)
Anyways, this next year is the Year of the Dragon, and tonight is Chinese New Year Eve. So, how many of you are staying up until 12 O'clock and later for the New year??? HUH, HUHH???? Well, I'm still not sure if I'm gonig to, but I think I probably will.
Even though the new year starts tomorrow, have any of you gotten any red envelopes yet? I have...=D There are lots of different designs of envelopes. Some have a special messages, others have pictures, and some have Hello Kitty! What is your favorite design on the red envelope?

Cake

So, this is spongychestnutcake's and my second week of cake decoration class.  This week, we decorated cakes.  This is my cake.  What do you think?  Also, spongy's chestnut paste in the middle was very yummy!  :)  Well, I hope you like my design.

AnoTHER TeRRible BLOb

Hi fellow co-authors! I was bored one day and decided to make some (rather ugly) art. I took a peice of scratch paper (not because I didn't have white paper, it was because I thought what I was going to make wasn't going to be much, so why waste paper? =P Anyways, while I was making it, I thought, "How about dedicate this to the blog?" So here you go, one of the most (correction) *So here you go, the most ugliest picture on the blog. =D I named the title of this post "Another Terrible Blob" because I kind of wanted to add something more to the "Blob" Project. Hey, The Blob Project sounds pretty cool actually. =P Well, atleast in my opinion.

So, here's my ugly blob. Atleast I made the scratch paper Slightly useful.

Hi!  Spongeychestnutcake and I joined a cake decoration class.  We worked on the star pattern for the first lesson.  We practiced on sugar cookies.  What do you think?  Which ones do you think are mine?  Which ones are spongeychestnut's?  Hmmmm....  We each made 2.  The other 2 simple star ones are just basic ones done by me.  Which one do you like the best?  Hehehe...........

Hi Everyone! Nice pics! They are very imaginative, pretty, and unique! Sorry I haven't been on the blog recently, and let our 300th post snagged by the one and only....Dogluver. I was kinda hoping for that one after i last checked in.. but then I forgot to check after that so.. Sucks for Me!
Anyways, what's your favorite type of music? Pop? Country? R&B? Rock?
Also, how many of you watched the People's Choice Awards? I forgot to watch it, but I looked at the winners. "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part : 2" for the win!

I'm sorry I didn't post much.  I was at Disneyland over the holidays...  It was fun but really big crowds!  On New Years Eve we waited like an hour and a half just for a sandwich!  I will post some pics of it later.....  Yeah......  So, did anyone else go anywhere?  Also, do you have any new years resolutions?  I don't...........  Oh well.....  Oh, yeah, congrats to dogluver for our 300th post. 

Random Sketches II

While Dogluver is working on more fashion sketches, I like to post a few more drawings from Amy Smilovic's sketchbook for inspirations. The first set of sketches are pencil sketches with just a hint of color. The second set are water color sketches. I am fascinated by her skillful use of different mediums, yet still maintaining that fun-loving, carefree and exuberant vibe in her sketches. What do you think?

BLOBBBBB!

Finally, after weeks of procrastinating and finally coloring it, I have finished my promised "Blob". I know it looks kinda....wierd? But that's just how it is. I wasn't able to take a super nice photo of it, but I guess this will have to do. Can you see shapes poking out or caving in? Well that's just your eyes silly! =P Well, I hope you like my Blob... =D

One more thing, what do you think about..patterns? Not patterns with numbers though- patterns with shapes, or colors. Are they more interesting to look at than number patterns? Or are number patterns more entertaining or more fun to figure out than color and shape patterns? That's just a random topic that's slightly related to the picture above. ^

2nd Post of the New Year- HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Hellloooo. Sorry for not checking in sooner... I've been kinda busy lately. Thanks for all the vids dogluver, but don't count on me to watch any of them....so sorry. I'm going to try to finish the blob in the next couple of days....I kinda forgot about doing it so far into the Winter Break...
Anyways, Happy New Year!!!!!!!!! Did any of you count down to 12:00? I did. It was fun. Now..2012!!!! What are your plans for a better year- a more exciting year-a laid back year- or the most terrifying year so far in your life!! I'm probably planning for a mildly fun, busy, alright year...atleast during Spring with all the tests and everything.

On another topic, what do you think about poster-type of messages. For example, in a classroom, you might see a poster that says "Always Do your Best" or "If you don't have time to do it RIGHT, you must have time to DO IT OVER". So, what do you think about messages like that, but not poster form and veryy...Unprofessional. Well, you know what I mean right? Tell me what you think about them....(random)
