Throwback to Summer

Our blog has been growing weeds lately…..here are some snaps from my summer travels to keep this blog from going to sleep ;-)

Guess where the snaps were taken? Hint: This beautiful island on the Aegean Sea is famous for its many whitewashed cubical houses built on the edge of the caldera and blue topped church domes.

Spring Break

The blogger grows tired on the laptop tonight,
not a blog post to be seen.
A prison of isolation,
and it look like I'm the geek.
The likes are growing like the Academy Award selfie
Couldn't keep it in, I know that I tried (really)

Don't let PastryGirl in
Don't let her see
Be the repetitive blogger you always have to be
Conceal, don't feel. Don't let her know...

WELL NOW SHE KNOWS

LET HER KNOW, LET HER KNOW

I CANT HOLD IT BACK ANYMORE

LET HER KNOW, LET HER KNOW

SHES CRAZY WE ALL KNOW.

AND I DONT CARE
WHAT SHES GOING TO SAY

LET THIS BAD PARODY GO ON....

HER HATE NEVER BOTHERED ME ANYWAYS.

#letitgoparody

Shoutout to pastrygirl and stargazer for their help

HAVE A WONDERFUL SPRING BREAK

The End of February

Hey everyone! It's almost the end of February and I haven't posted at all this month. I've been meaning to finish a certain TFIOS blob (pastrygirl knows what I'm talking about) but I've been reading a certain app instead... so therefore my BLOB is not yet complete. However, when it is done, I'll be sure to post it for all to see. =)

Ok, so we all know that February has only 28 days, except for leap years. Why is that? As in, why is the second month of the year the one that gets the awkward number of days? How did that happen?

Anyways, I'm interested in finding out... who's your favorite artist (music) currently, and what is your favorite song by them?

Okay, that's enough procrastination for these past 10 minutes.

 BLOBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB!!

February! Already?

(Began this post in mid-February, just finished it and posting it now)
Well if it's a surprise to you about what month it is I suggest you go check the calendar. Preferably now.
In these past ten days of the month there hasn't been much that's happened to me, except that I was sick for the past couple of days. Yeah, it wasn't much fun at all.

Anyways, moving on. For some reason my typing skills are failing me. O rather, if I had typing skills, they would be failing me. Right now I am having trouble not making a ton of typos. Not sure why. It just happens I guess.

FEBRUARY POEM

My oh my, I looked at the time
and saw that my poem didn't rhyme.
I had so many things to do,
and I realized that my calendar was missing a couple days
more like 2/29-2/30
they had disappeared
or maybe they were never there before
Valentine's Day and President's day is just too much
for a month short of 2 days to handle.
Or is it?

Aha. Sorry that was a really bad poem and didn't make much sense. In fact, I think it was worse than my November one. Well, see you in March~!

Step 1: Mixing and stir frying all the ingredients together require a fair amount of arm exercise!

Step 2 : After 50 minutes of steaming and then cooling off…...

Step 3: Light browning and crisping the outside before serving…... Bon appetit!!!!!

Back So Soon? It's Called Procrastination.

Heyy Everyone. I know I just posted like a couple days ago, but when I don't want to study for finals, procrastination calls. So here I am. In the flesh. Or rather, in the virtual flesh? Or something I don't know.

Well, I'll keep this post short.

Yes, it is super cold right now and my fingers keep typing the wrong letters because of that and so I have to keep going back and correct my errors. >.<
Yes, finals starts in two days and I've only really studied for one subject so far.
No, I don't know how to draw open fractures and closed fractures. Ayudame Pastrygirl.
No, I don't know what I'm doing.
and Yes, I did wake up much earlier than I did yesterday. Thanks for asking.

BTW- Anyone want to recommend me a great YouTube Channel? Thanks. =D

Admission

If you read the title, you might think that I'm talking about an admission to a movie or something. *buzzer sound* Actually, I'm talking about me admitting something. That kind of admission.
So remember in my last post how I was all like "I'm going to post more and yay life" and stuff like that. Well as you can see, I haven't kept my resolution very well. In fact, I think from the moment it was midnight, I am still the lazy person that I was last year. But, as it is the new year... have I changed? Despite still being lazy and procrastinating.

Ok, so for the past two days- yes, two. I have not been reading from an app. Pastrygirl knows what I'm talking about. And although I will admit that I still have been reading (more than couple hours per day) from other resources, I have not tapped that app nor have I visited the website since our "pact." (Even though I guess it didn't technically start yet) I'll try to keep it up for a week. Honestly, when I first started, I wasn't even sure that I could stop. I know, it sounds like I'm addicted and now in the "dependence" stage. You might say I have withdrawal symptoms. But really, the only "effects" I get is similar to when you finish reading a gripping book. Every so often you think back to the book, the particular scenes you liked best, the characters you missed and loved... the other ones that you completely hated and wanted them to be ripped out of existence. Okay, maybe not this aggressive, but you see my point. Even if it's a really compelling or soul-searching book or whatever, after a while, you start to focus back on other things in life. Like homework. =P Not that you necessarily forget, but just... push it aside for now. Prioritize.

Soo yah. This is my random and weird post. If I remember I'll come back soon. =P

D.E.A.D.

For the past month this blog has been...

DANCING
ENERGETICALLY
AMONGST
DRY LEAVES

^ I have no idea what that means. Honestly.

 TOMORROW IS NEW YEAR'S EVE!!
and there has not been one post on here since November. Yes, I am part of the blame.

I'm a little late for Christmas, but here you go anyways.

What has become of our lovely blog? In the first year, it was bursting with new posts every week. This year... we're lucky to get two posts a month. So- this is going on my New Year's Resolutions.

8. No matter how stupid, try to post more on Random Thoughts From the Girls.

Well, that's my contribution. Happy holidays! and Happy New Year!

Sorry. It's Been a While.

Hey everyone! I'm back. I feel like I say this every time I post this year, but SORRY FOR NOT CHECKING ON THE BLOG FOR THE PAST.. MONTH?
Anyways, Thanksgiving is next week- how are you celebrating/ what will you be doing? I have this mini project for Spanish that basically asks those questions. =P
On another topic (sorry I'm jumping from place to place), I realized in these past couple of days that I need a new hobby, or at least, be not lazy enough to enjoy the hobbies I already have. For example, I like to draw BLOBBs (as you may have seen in previous posts). However, I would look at the piece of paper and markers and simply be too lazy to actually start drawing (scribbling XP) anything.
Maybe I just need to learn how to not be as lazy. Something to put on next New Year's Resolutions. Actually, I think I put that every year. =P
Scrolling down through October's posts, I am amazed at all the pictures. Wow, they are so beautiful!!  Next time you should bring me along/// just kidding. ^_^
Hm.. November

                             November, November

'Tis November I see
 Wow. How fast
it seems.
That time has
gone, and days
have become
darker
and something.
yah, lots of
leaves,
colder weather.
What is the
meaning of
this poem?
November,
November.
Don't ask.
Please.
I don't know
why either.

Aha. Some terrible on-the-spot poetry~ Hoped you enjoyed my nonsense
ITS THE HOLIDAYS (KIND OF) AND I DON'T WANT TO DO HOMEWORK, SO HERE'S A LITTLE QUESTION THING.

1) During the Holidays I enjoy
          a. eating lots of food and getting... considerably larger
          b. walking through the crisp winter air and stomping on fallen leaves
          c. Not doing homework because "But it's the Holidays!" makes a great excuse
          d. none of the above
          e. other ______

2) Why are end-of-the-year holidays when families get together? (as in, why don't families get together during the summer and celebrate Fourth of July or something? Why is "family holidays" generally associated with Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years)
           a. Annually, people think there will be an apocalypse near the end/beginning of the year so they want to spend time with their loved ones
           b. It's just a good time; it's cold and dark outside, much better weather to comfortably have ten or more people in the same room
           c. No answer necessary.
           d. none of the above
           e. other _____

3) What is your favorite holiday?
           a. Your Birthday
           b. President's Day
           c. Groundhog Day
           d. none of the above
           e. other _____

Well, this is one super long post. I hoped you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed typing it! (I will not tell you whether or not I actually liked typing all this lol)

One more thing- here you go Pastrygirl. Sorry, I know it's really late, and it's kinda plain. If you want I'll color it or something and then post it again~
Well. I think that's enough for today. Bai.

Guess which country I visited this summer?

Here are some picture clues:

A unique building facade by one of the country's most famous architects.

The bull ring was closed on the day I visited. I ended up taking a picture with the bull sculpture.

Orxata is a delicious almond and rice milk drink enjoy by many in this nation.

Off duty flamingo dancers posing at the palace.

Have you ever seen a rooftop like this?

Tapas bars everywhere.

Do you recognize that this plaza was used as a location in the Star Wars movie series?

Countryside white villages.

October is here!

Wow, I can't believe it's October already!  What are you guys doing for halloween?  I hope there will be more posts this month.  Yeah, that's it for now.  ^.^

Mexico Part 8

Hi!  I'm so sorry this took so long, I was going to put this up sooner but blogspot was malfunctioning.
Yeah, I'm starting with a nighttime view of Morelia which is kinda random but yeah.
We explore an art gallery thing.

Awesome clay figure!
Wow, this is a really intricately woven cloth!
Cool statue.
We go into a restaurant and see this display of cute little figurines.
If you look closely, you can see there are a lot of saints hanging upside down in this picture.  This is because it supposedly helps you get a husband.
These pictures explain the legend of this saint.
There were A LOT of pictures of saints.
Yummy chips and dip as appetizers.
Yummy food!
We did not take a photo but Pastrygirl's sister ordered chicken fingers and they were RAW!  Don't worry though, she was fine.
Pretty coffee.
After eating, we get to look around a local cooking school.
The kitchen inside.
A little cage designed for holding eggs!
A really nice looking table :).
Outside, there is an outdoor cooking area.
So many jugs!
An outdoor oven.
A bridge behind the building.

Well that's it, we finished Mexico.  Woohoo!  This is a night view of the city lights.  I hope you enjoyed all the pictures!
